Welcome to the home of Caliciviruses
hosted by The Pirbright Institute

The family Caliciviridae consists of eleven genera (Clarke et al., 2011; ICTV, 2019):

Bavovirus Lagovirus Minovirus Nacovirus Nebovirus
Norovirus Recovirus Salovirus Sapovirus Valovirus
Vesivirus

One other calicivirus, 'Sanovirus', remains unclassified. The partial genome sequence of another candidate calicivirus from sewage, "Secalivirus" has recently been determined.
